Mike: I am sorry I gave you wrong information. The coolant used was 50/50. However, nothing was done to release any air that may be in the system. No bolt on the thermostat housing was loosened. Do you think it is worth it to even bother draining the radiator and start all over again, doing it the right way by loosening the bolt?
Also, the fan goes on every single time I have used the car and then parked. Does this have nothing to do with the fan going on when I am driving or stopped for a light? Is it the same fan that should be going on while I am driving?
I think I am going to wind up back at the mechanic because husband is not thrilled with trying to fix this car!
