Per the manual, the problem is either intermittent, or it is due to clogged EGR passages in the intake manifold port or the passage in the EGR valve. Basically, the engine is sensing less flow than should be expected given the EGR valve position. Remove the valve and clean the ports in the valve and manifold with carb cleaner, or replace the valve if it is too clogged.....good luck, glen
