Yeah it goes away when I turn it off, sometimes. Really it only does it if I have multiple things on at the same time, when I start the car in the cold, or I run thru a puddle, sometimes when I am idling and I roll down the window you can hear it "chirp" or just go into a total screech. I am planning on buying a higher output alternator b/c I also run ham radio gear in my car.
