Tom,

I've never heard of O'reilly, but I doubt it is the same quality as Honda. However, if you want to save money and aren't going to keep the car long enough to find out, go for it.

Replacement is easy. Remove the wheel, put the parking brake on, and remove the center bearing cap. Pry up the lock tab on the nut and remove the nut (big wrench). Release the brake, and if it is a drum brake, just remove the drum. If it is a disc brake, you have to remove the caliper mounting bolts and hang the caliper off to the side. Remove the rotor retaining screws, and use two M8x1.25 capscrews in the other two holes siultaneously to press off the rotor. The hub comes right off then. The torque on the caliper mounting screws are 41 lb-ft, and the main spindle nut is 134 lb-ft and should be replaced per the manual.

Try www.hondaautomotiveparts.com for wholesale prices on Honda parts. The bearings are pretty stout, so I wouldn't be surprised if you damaged some suspension components if you hit it hard enough to damage the bearings.

Good luck, glen
