Are you sure the rod bearings are okay? Oil starvation can sometimes affect rod bearings first, and although they usually knock on accels, they don't always.

You could try using some plastigage to check clearances, but make sure you do it twice on each rod throw, at 90deg from each other.

You might also want to check your crank thrust bearing to make sure it is not allowing the crank to shift and knock.

Can you pinpoint exactly where the knock is coming from with an engine stethoscope? Perhaps the knock is unrelated to the oil?
