Subject: 2002 Accord Gear Shifter Stuck in Park

 I got in my car one day and put my foot on the brake to release the gear shift lock, pushed the button on the side of the shifter and it wouldn't budge. After trying to persuade it I found the little release on the side, stuck my key down in there and was able to put it in neutral, start the car and drive home. I have to do that every day now until I get it serviced. Any idea what's causing this?
