I really like the response from Amy and agree wholeheartedly, but I thought I would add one more thing to helping her cope, and that's with a sense of humor. She could ask an adult, "Are you jealous?" Something to that effect, I'm not sure how they're confronting her, but I'm sure you could come up with some direct, humorous responses that will help her with her confidence and snap the person directing the criticism, out of thier anal retentive location. I deal with it constantly when it comes to our family size and would be a very angry person if I took all the comments that were thrown my way seriously!I have a few responses I find humorous yet still letting the people know that I don't need to hear anymore!
