Subject: The super-duper, deluxe, extra-fancy good morning Tuesday post just for Rachel
OK, so I inadvertently left Rachel out of my drunken Friday-night love post. And she is not letting me forget it! Talk about the guilt! I have made her doubt my love for her, she says. So, to prove my devotion, I hereby proclaim Tuesday, August 13 as Welcome Back Rachel day. It will be a daylong bash, with a breakfast buffet, a lunchtime spread, and an evening dinner. Also snacks and alcohol will be available all day. (Don't forget to pace yourselves--if you start with a mimosa this morning, remember to drink lots of water today--you don't wanna be too trashed for the evening festivities) I unfortunately am on deadline today and may not make it in till a bit later but I have instructed Jinxy and Murk to look after things. So just let one of them know if you need anything. Sometimes you have to kick them to get them going. Just FYI.
Jinxy and Murk did the pink-themed, decorations--I think they did a surprisingly good job. Love the sparkles and the lights and the nude portrait of Nicholas Brendon in the main hall. (Sorry, guys, but this IS a party for Rachel)

When i went away, there was a little stand where people were selling there paintings. One painting, incidentally, was entitled "Morning Glory" I totally forgot about it until now, so I thought I'd share. It was quite bizarre!

And who says 13 is an unlucky number? According to American folklore, Friday the 13th is supposed to be an unlucky day. But this is Tuesday, so quit yer bitchin' and have a mimosa!
