Herc's crackpot theory has been a theory of mine. I've always believed that in the end Spike will sacrifice himself for the love of Buffy. And, yes, I will need a box of kleenex beside me when I watch it. He will do this regardless of which direction his character goes this season (good or evil). This ends the telling of my humble vision of the future of Spike.

I do like Spike in a way, but my tears will be held back by more joy of seeing Buffy and Xander together! :-P

The end of Spike does not foretell the beginning of B/X. Rather, Buffy will be so grief striken she will want nothing to do with Xander, or anyone for that matter. She will go off into the mountains to be alone to live her life out. Seeking peace. Looking forward to the time when her life will end and she will be rejoined with her true love, William, where they will spend an eternity loving one another.

Sure, Buffy will be upset. There'll be one less vamp to beat up! But she will be happy that the torment has gone. Xander will be frickin over the moon. They will share in their joy, and make sweet joy to one another!!!!

.......... get caught kissing Willow on the couch in the Summers' living room. After he convinces Buffy that it was just vestiges of feelings left over from their childhood, he will propose marriage.

On the joyous day of their wedding, he will start to think about a future with Buffy. He will start sweating, shaking, and RUN from the church moments before the wedding ceremony. Never to be seen or heard from again.

they will get married via the internet, and then *bam* they'll be married just like that! No time for scary run away-y thoughts!
Not that Buffy will mind him kissing Willow. She'll find herself with rather curious thoughts, and what with Willow being gay, Xander being a guy, there'll be even closer friends!!!

it's pretty rough and insane. I might actually like it. But I hate, hate, HATE American professional sports of any kind. (Except hockey.) I like playing sports, but even then I gravitate to the individual sports like swimming more than playing on teams with people.

But pro sports—that's a whole 'nother thing. I feel physically ill when I get near discussions about it and I cannot imagine anything more excruciatingly boring to watch on TV. Baseball, football, basketball, you name it. I hate it.

Of course, 90% of America (if not more) loves pro sports, so that just goes to show you how in step I am with everyone else.

But please *whimper, whine* no sports on Buffy boards! If we can help it. *whine*
