Subject: Nick Brendon Article from the BBC Online (umm, stuff we've heard before, but hey!! worth repeating:)

Nicholas Brendon has revealed how he’s transformed Xander from a skinny school kid to Buffy’s biggest beefcake.

"I just hired a trainer and started working out," he told YM magazine. "At first Joss just really didn't want me to, because it wasn't part of the character, [but] finally we talked it over and it was cool.

We decided I was out of high school and going into the workforce, so it was okay."

Asked if he thought Buffy would last beyond seven years, Nick revealed he may be around until season ten. I'm under contract for three more years. It's up to the higher powers that be. If they want the show to continue, it will, and from what I've heard, they do. I just figure, let's wait till after this season and we'll find out.

Nick also revealed a romantic side when asked what he’d like to see more of on Buffy. "Less blood, more love. You can quote me on that!" he says.

some of this I have heard before, except the part where Nick says he's under contract for an additional 3 years. I thought all the main cast contracts ended at 7?

:)
