Subject: Cycle Trainers - Magnetic or Fluid?

I am thinking of buying a cycle trainer for winter training and also to work on my pedalling technique.

Are fluid trainers the way of the future? Apart from cost are there any downsides compared with magnetic ones? I believe the leaking oil problems are now a thing of the past?
