I've been playing guitar for about 30 years too. I can read music (I’m a pretty fair sight reader) and tablature. I played mostly folk, old rock & roll, and some Jazz with a little Blues thrown in until about 3 years ago when I received a used Alhambra classical guitar in payment of an old debt. I really like the solo freedom available in the classical/finger-picking style. I’d say I’m an advanced steel string player and early intermediate classical. I’m just finishing Aaron Shearer’s “Complete Method for Classical Guitar” which includes “Classical Guitar Technique” vol. 1 and 2, plus Supplements 1, 2 and 3.
