Subject: *koff* crazy *koff* couple of days *koff* down here in San Diego

Wow San Diego county has been declared an actual offcial disaster zone. It's been crazy down here the past few days everything is on fire, I think this "firestorm" as the media loves to call it is offcially the worst fire ever to hit California [in recorded history]. And is supposdley the worst disaster to ever hit San Diego, I'll take there word for it cause off hand i can't really think of any bigger events.

My house didn't burn down or anything, I'm perfectly A-Ok but I'm sort of in the danger zone area where one of the fires was present, I live in a rural very fire hazardess area with lots of large hills of very dry brush everywhere. And I'm near the big fires and there was a chance it coulda lit up my area had the wind been different. Theres been plenty of brush fires in the past in my area and I'm pretty used to them, but never seen anything as big as whats happened these past couple of days.

It's like Post-Apocolyptic San Diego now, its like out of some movie, The smoke is thick everywhere today, it's like a dense fog, but it's smoke. The air in my area was declared toxic and your not supposed to go outside for prolonged amounts of time. The sun is all filtered out because of the smoke, it's just ths eerie bright red dot in the sky. Theres Ash everywhere, People are all wearing masks, and goggles and stuff. Rescue crews are driving around constantly going to the next area, I keep expecting some mutant zombies or something to start running through the new post apocalyptic san diego we have going here. I decided to go to the beach cause i figures the best air would probably there, but even on the beach it's the same conditions, just this dense fog of smoke everywhere, it's amazing the amount of area this all covers.

I can't really complain tho' I don't wanna sound like some whiner I mean pretty much nothing happened to me in the grand scheme of things. Allot of people have been hit really hard, and theres a record amount of houses that burned down, and allot of people died as a result of the fire. It's a terrible incident.

Anyways I just wanted to post an offcial "I'm not dead" post to get that cleared up.
