Subject: Got Axess figures today.

To sum up in one word: Disappointment.

I've officially been spoiled by the Bandai figures. These things are a joke, honestly. The figures are passable, they've got decent (not great) articulation, but it's hampered slightly by the armor suits. They don't stay on well and they're a freaky mix of pvc and polystyrene.

The figures heads are huge and misproportioned.
They look better with the armor on, but not much. Best one out of the bunch is seeker armor.

The battlechips are cute, they look like they would in the real world, but they are definitely not worth the additional cost or cost cutting measures.


The kits are TINY! TINY TINY TINY!! Oh man, gutsman is a miniature version of himself. Decent articulation, child-killer spring loaded action, but MINISCULE! Barely three inches tall! Dwarfed by the old figures! UGH!


I am not a happy rockfan.

Granted, they had a lot to live up to but they didn't even come close to the greatness of the earlier bandai figures. Give this one a miss, folks, your wallets and shelves will thank you.
