Don't have one, but I've seen the damage. What occurs is, the metallic paint is a "skin" layer, like nail polish. When you transform it, some parts rub against each other or the corners knock and bump stuff, and bits of the paint chips off.

$50 for something I can't transform repeatedly? no thanks. hasbro version for me.
