Subject: korean boxed japanese beast wars at bigbadtoystore

so... are these bootlegs, or the real thing as they say it is? i suppose i'll find out once my big convoy shows up, but whatever. anybody who wants the original colors on starscream and bb, they've got them for $30. also the beast wars megatrons and some others. sold out of the maximal combiner team, oddly enough.

and of course, gigatron. i'd have gotten one otherwise.

and they had the xamel, rob zombie mini-mate, and the playskool millenium falcon. never seen any of those in stores. bigbad rules.

next paycheck i think i'll order up a beast machines mega rattrap for $7 and the mega cheetor for $10 while i'm at it. then i need to troll ebay for quickstrike and geckobot. should have bought them and silverbolt when they were out.
damn, i miss the basic beast wars figures. nothing like a figure with ball/sockets for every joint... ;) the dx are okay, but the basics were where it was AT.

they should do a mini-con prime: mini-con version of prime w/trailer that turns into basic sized powermaster armor.

i had another idea for a series of transformers that are all robots with steeds or vehicles that turn into powermasters or powered armor for them: like, a knight on a horse turns into a big amored knight, a guy riding a cat turns into a cat-bot, guy riding a motorcycle turns into a biker-bot, and so on. it could work. robot animals ala the transmetals or maybe tm2s... man, i just like the animal transformers. i want to see good NEW transformers, not a bunch of beast wars repaints and crappy armada bots with no articulation.


big convoy, mine at last! this is almost as cool as when i found a mib takotank when i flew out to nyc. if i can just get ahold of the yellow trike robot (which is actually still at some webstore, i forget which) the penguin, and the cuttlefish, i'll have all the japanese transformers i never got the chance to own.
then i should track down the buffalo from beast wars, the first optimus(might get the unicron battles reissue if it's not so fugly in person), and tm1 cheetor, plus the 'predacon agent'. okay, so the list is a bit long. ;)
