Subject: Sammy vs. Capcom is a reality!

This was announced Thursday, but I haven't heard anyone mention it.

Magic Box:
"Sammy announced the latest arcade cross over fighting game Sammy Vs Capcom (tentative name) at the 41st JAMMA Show in Japan. The Guilty Gear series developer Arc System Works will be in charge of the development, they commented that they would like to see Vampire (Darkstalkers) characters in Guilty Gear graphics, with a concrete system. The game will run on the AW-NET (Atomiswave-NET) system, which support online battles."

Maybe that Sammy/Capcom/SNK figure set is a sign of things to come.
