I agree with you 100%,Sha is a great teacher of fundamental basketball offensively and defensively.For the last five years or so I have had the pleasure to see her teams on numerous occasions.To question her coach abilities is absurd.Defensively I have not seen any of her teams not play an agressive style of pressure defense.I.m sure as a coach she has had moments of displeasure with the core of players she has now.To say that they have underachieved is not far-fetched and as players I'm sure they know if they play for Sha.What most outsiders don't realize is that this core have players have been together for sometime now.Most programs add to yearly,for whatever reasons Von hasn't.Maybe it's a gesture of loyalty on Sha's behalf to her girls and the excellaration of thier futures.I beleive that's the case and she deserves kudos for that alone.Winning is icing on the cake for those who have true intentions on getting thier kids to the next level with leaving others in the program wayside.Sha's committed to her kids and program,a team is a reflection of thier coach in alot of ways.Von is decent but not great,they could be better but they lack the killer instinct that Sha diplays in practices and on the sideline.To say that they think they are great is kind off base just as well as the comment of being out of shape.She instills a rigorous conditiong program for these young ladies.As a team they know they could be better and have not progressed in the city and state format by not utilizing the talent they have.Most viewers say they have not gotten any better since eighth graders and the class of 09 is disappointing.Remember two years ago they achieved more than any previous Von girls team.Thier 09 class has been up and down,Baker just regaining confidence and full strenght in her knee.Brandon a very good pg that had a very heavy load of being the primary ballhandler.Powell very good in the post,but should extend her dominant play outside of conference play.Sometime in big games she not there mentally.Water's has a game but needs to step up as she displayed early last season with confidence.I think Taylor though less talented than some of her teammates is an example of what Sha wants in all her players heady.agressive and displaying confidence.A.Johnson can also be mentioned with Taylor,she jusst lacks the shooting ability of Romesha.They play thru T.Taylor an unbelievablly gifted player who has a knack of scoring around the basket with ease.

No, I am NOT offbase when I stated some of the Von kids are out of shape and that they think they are great players already. I have seen these kids play several times this summer and there are kids on this team who can not get up and down the floor. There are kids on this team that think they should shoot all the time. R. Taylor is NOT a consistant shooter and she turns the ball over way to much , Mo is not a good PG and she only handles the ball because she is family. D Baker gets scared in big games. Powell seems to get hurt every time a big game is on the schedule. And poor C. Waters she is drowning. Until Von Coaches decide to stop playing favorites this team will keep underachieving. Find a line up that works and go with it regardless of who has been with who the longest.

you sound as if you are a parent who's child you feel should play more than she does.this kids have been playing basketball since october 07,they should be conditioned well.they are teenagers who probaly don't take the best care of thier bodies.you know quite a bit about these young ladies,but did you know they are are getting division 1 offers to play at the next level.Thats all that matters is getting to college free of charge.

No I am not a parent but if I did have a kid playing she would be a disipline and in shape player. I think you need to get off the von bandwagon because you are a speculator you have no fucking clue what you are talking about.

D1 offers who in their right fucking mind would want either one of those kids. They all have bad attitudes their work ethic suck and by the way, what kids are you talking about because none of these kids have offers if they did the world would know. Stop fooling yourself these kids grades are suspect at best you better stop fucking dreaming.

actually every senior on von are being looked at wit very high interest and 2 has offers. nobody knos because its not evrybody's business. if evrybody knos wat purpose wud it serve everybody knowin will not get them thru college. n onlooker u are exactly rite these r kids so mayb u shud grow up and realize u r bashing little girls. n u urself prolly cant get up n down the floor 4 four quarters
