I agree

Smart is the best player on that team and may be the best player in the city or this area. I do have one question.

How does Randle get a scholarship to college and she can't get off the bench in high school. I saw Young the last 6 or 7 games and she is a joke. At Trinity, she had a break away layup and she threw the ball so hard against the backboard that it looked as if she was playing ping pong. and the same is true about Cambell also. They better be glad that the publicity machine ate Young is working to it fullest potential. I expect the coaches that provided them scholarships will soon lose their jobs because of the inferior talent that they have recruited. There is no way that they will help their college teams, except for provided practice bodies....

I have wondered this same thing. Not so much about Taryn, she used to play well over the last two years. But the Campbell girl, how did she get a scholarship, I was baffled by that one. Makes me really believe that it is easy for a girl to get a scholarship. She is not a good player, I have never seen her score more that 4pts a game. she isn't tall, and only uses one hand, how can she contribute to a college team? What will she do in college. its really interesting?

Corry was able to sell her, then I think Corry could sell a bikini to fat albert.

I totally agree with you. She is so weak to be 6"0". She can't even hit a layup! SAD!

Both Taryn and Paris are capable of helping Loyola and Southern Illinois. They both benefitted because they played in tons of college exposure events and at times have shown the ability to be good players.

Both of these kids have peaked playing for Coach Carter. They have both been mentally tormented to the point of lacking confidence and that has everything to do with poor performance.

Both of these kids are pretty good players and if they played for another coach they would show much better.

The both deserve DI scholarships and will be better in college.

You may be correct. Hey I support any African American kid who gets a free ride through college. So kudos to the two of them. But I have watched them the last three years and I also saw Randle quite a bit over the summer as I was invited to numerous USJN events, I just haven't seen her perform at a relatively good high school level, let alone college level. I used to give the Campbell kid a pass, because she played behind some talented young ladies, AT, DC, and the rest. But this was her year to show and it hasn't happened. I would bet that the Loyola and/or the SIU coach will be gone before either of them are contributors.

But enough said on this, I imagine that they are giving Portia, Ashley, and Tailor some good bodies to practice against and this will help Young in the tough part of the tournament.

tormented. you have no idea how much stress she puts on the girls.
as a former player I can speak from first hand knowledge.

she plays mind games with us.we have no free time.we must be around her 18 hours a day.

in the summers we gotta play ball with her or she threatens not to let you play on the high school team.

she did taylor snider wrong. just wrong. it will all come back on her. how she has people playing who live outside the city. the illegal practices. it all comes back, this is why she won't win a state championship.
