Subject: Basketball Tournament in Poland

Dear basketball Fans, Players, Coaches...

The Society for Regional Development �Pomeranian Institute� is honoured to invite to The International Basketball Tournament �Torun Cup 2007� organized in cooperation with the City of Toru�. We plan to host the biggest event of this kind in Poland � all together for 100 teams in five female and five male age categories. We are open to teams from all over the world � that�s why the tournament will be a great possibility for meeting people from various parts of Europe and the world. All these young people are connected with fascination of basketball � one of the most interesting team games.

Torun is one of traditionally linked with basketball Polish towns. For years teams from Toru� play in national leagues � also on the highest level. At the same time Torun is very attractive for tourists � full of monuments, with inimitable gothical atmosphere. Torun is an always living town � even late at night people walk on the Old Town streets, meet in restaurants and pubs offering their services to youth and adults.

Younger participants of the tournament will surely be delighted to taste famous torunian gingerbreads and to visit places connected with one of the best known Poles � Nicolas Copernicus who was born in Torun. Beside those traditional attractions of the town, we also offer a great possibility to do shopping in one of shopping centres or in one of numerous shops in the Old Town. The older ones, adult players and coaches may count on one of 150 pubs and restaurants in the Old Town, where you can drink cool beer in the hottest days.

We hope to see you playing in our tournament in August. Come to Toru� and have fun!
