Subject: Bolingbrook Dynasty In Da Making

Bolingbrook H.S. is becoming a dynasty within girls basketball in the state of Illinois. Within the past three seasons they've gotten a 1st place finish, 2nd place finish, and 4th place finish.

Many people count this as a down year for Bolingbrook but I wouldn't be so sure. Though they don't have the names that everyone was calling upon last year such as Thomas, Woods, and Adams. But Bolingbrook will be returning a great core of girls. Starter Janisha Gearlds will be returning for her senior year having to make a huge impact this year if this team is to do well. People pretty much know she will defend at any cost but the question is how assertive will she be on offense. Also you have Temple bound Miranda Tate, who will make a huge impact scoring wise, but will have to step her game up on the defensive end because she sometimes have a tendency to be a defensive liability. Satavia Taylor, Kia Rhodes, and Candace Nevels will also be key factors in this years run.

Though they lack the height they had last year, the talent and speed will be there this year. This can't and I think it won't be the Bolingbrook team you have seen the past three seasons who will beat you by only scoring 35 points because they defense was great. This team will have to defend but also push the tempo in order to put teams on their heels and to make up for the lack of height.

Many people talk about the coaching skills of Anthony "Tony" Smith but Bolingbrook is not going anywhere fast as the Tuck twins will be wearing a Lady Raiders uniform next year. Bolingbrook H.S. is in a booming community and should always be making some noise on the basketball scene within Illinois because the talent will be present.

Taylor Tuck is a freshman at Bolingbrook now. Morgan is an 8th grader.

BBrook is good don't get me wrong, they have good players, but they are to cocky to win they think the game just goning to come to them sometimes thats why its easy for them to get beaten in the games that matter, if they can keep their head they can go downstate winning state is a strech because its teams that better than them this year and in order to be a Dynasty you have to win 4 championships(they have only won one) sorry coming in 2nd and 4th don't count

You must have not read the heading: In Da Making!!! Who came up with the number 4 as the number you have to reach before you become a dynasty? And if 4 is the number how many years do you have to win the 4? As far as them being cocky, I don't think so, but you're entitled to you opinion. I will agree that they had one player who comes off to be a little cocky last year. But this year can u name one? You mentioned the big games: Was Fenwick being cocky when they lost to BBrook? Was Morton being cocky when they got smashed by BBrook? The reason I asked is because you seem to tie their losses in with them being cocky! Is this philosophy of yours just concerning BBrook? BBrook struggles is huge games a lot of the time not because they are cocky but because they don't put points on the board. The are a good defensive team but has had problems on the offensive side. Now if they can match their offensive with their defense this year, they will be back downstate.
