well in my opinion, they can win state if they play as a team like they have been doin. amanda and d'frantz have never played all by themselves. they have a team packed with agility, speed, endurance, strength, scoring, defense, and anything else that it takes. they are coming for all non-believers so just know that your doubt will be your downfall when you play them.

whitney young could win it but you have to look at crane squad got big sade from collins, kenyatta,nikki,shalonda that can take on amanda,and some more girls you betta watch out cuz them crane cougars is coming at it

i agree they might have a chance at winning city but Amanda Isn't the only one that can take them there , meaning she cant carry the team by herself she'll need help from her team and if ther work together then they can win state.

Whitney Young is a good team and will do well this year. They could win city but you can't count out Crane who gave Whitney Young's much better team last year with Erin and Danielle a run for their money. Now without those two it equalizes the odds. Look for that game between these to teams to be intense. Amanda will have to play some defense and stay out of foul trouble. WY will also need a big game from D'frantz Smart. As far as WY winning state, I don't think so! They couldn't do it with last year's team, which will be the best team they will have for many years, so this year will even be harder. They will have to get past teams like Bolingbrook, Benet, Loyola, Fenwick, and Bianca Ward's team! WY has a good coach and some good talent but so does other schools and WY's depth will affect them in the latter part of the season.

yeah that is true watch out for them cougars because they coming for them dolphins, and commandikes. whitney young always had a bench but they only have two key players amanda and d'fantz. their bench is not going to save them because them cougars at their head.yeah but the cougars got a bench too 3 sophmores Ashley 5'10, Monica shooting guard 5'6, and big Tonisha 6'3. then kenyatta 6'2, sade 6'1, Brittney with a burner no one can stop but god,Fila running the ball up the floor no one has the speed like her, nikki no one has the defense to stick or the speed
