And when has the media shown that it can tell the truth?
He skims the headlines and I am sure he more than likely reads a few here and there, but oh well, let us take every word a reporter who works for a liberal (not independent) paper as gospel. That is the same logic I see being used against the Bush supporters: "You think he can do no wrong!" and then turning around and believing every single word printed because it agrees with your point of view RE Bush. Rather childish and silly.

The advisors and aides are going to have the latest up to the minute data from more sources than most jouranlists have anyway, and a more complete analysis. I can't believe that people are wringing their hands over the fact that he says he doesn't read the papers...like Dan Rather, Maureen Dowd, Helen Thomas and others are going to know what is going on.
