and I owe you a response. I am not offended by you. While I do not agree with everything you post, you have been very courteous. It doesn't even bother me that you agree with everything that Cricket/Bee says. But it does seem to me (and this is just my perception, which Cricket/Bee has already pointed out is warped) that you are not bothered by her abrasiveness. There have been several times when your response has seemed measured and reasonable, but then Cricket/Bee comes in and you echo everything she says (albeit less abrasively).

That's OK, everyone is entitled to their opinion. I would probably enjoy a "debate" or "exchange" with you, but every time one has started Cricket/Bee steps in and that's the end of moderation.

As Jean will tell you, we have disagreed on more than one issue, sometimes very passionately. But we've enjoyed the exchange and have never called each other names (such as liar and hypocrite). As I've told Jean many times, I feel I learn more from people who I disagree with and so find my exchanges with her far more rewarding than those with people who agree with me.

So please don't think that you've offended me. It's only because you have a team member who does offend that I am withdrawing. There is actually another LDS political board that is a lot more congenial (and where almost no one agrees with me :D) that will now get my attention.
