Subject: About the "Must see movie" Jay mentioned below

Well, I finally got to watch the DVD of it. Wow! I wish I were rich, I'd buy a million of them and give them to a million households. You're right--the first half is a great stand-alone documentary, but the second half almost makes me despair. I notice my driver's license expires 3-08. Maybe I'll get it renewed a little early and avoid the national ID thing--at least for a few more years. But the rest of it, I just don't know what we can do. Well, I do know what we can do, but I doubt the people of this nation have the will to do what needs doing--hold our Congress accountable and take back our rights.

I just re-read Slan's post about being self-sufficient, food storage, etc. As I was watching this I was thinking the same thing. I'm glad we're working on that, but now I see so many ways we need to improve. As I see how dire the outcomes will be if we do not change course, I doubt even the best food storage would see us through this kind of tyranny. And if it did, for how long? I fear the tyranny would outlast the food.

Someone from the Constitution Party sent me an email a couple weeks ago that you can get the DVD in a cheaper packaging for $4--I'll have to see if I can find that email and see how many we can "gift" to others.

For anyone who wants to watch this movie online, it's here:
