I don't know about Iran. No president of the US that has ever taken office and got involved in the ME ever enhanced their reputations, regardless of party affiliation. I do know though, from things I have been reading here and there that most Muslims don't want to live under sharia law and their lives are threatened for daring to disagree.
Unfortunately, we don't hear their voices too often or for any length of time.
Iran wants to be trusted so we will have to wait and see.
But to be honest, I would rather no one but us have nuclear capability. So far, since WWII we have exercised
restraint with regard to the use of those types of weapons.
If you have a differing POV I would like to hear it.
