Yes, it was a longshot to wonder the readers here did more than turn off all media at that hour. Alternatively, tossing large objects at televisions and radios.

I taped Fox News Channel's replay of the Address that same night, and it's around here, somewhere (maybe). But much of my fun is for listening in to the banter after the fact. As of today (2/5/2006), cable news networks are continuing milking the topic, like the Energizer Bunny full of fuel to burn (no Texas oil pun intended).

What I did note as I began taping was President Bush's hair--well done (that pun intended). Additional points go to the lighting and makeup crew. Most excellent. With those high marks and my earlier mention of the President having cute legs, the Republicans may get me yet! I'm shallow and proud of it. ;-)

Postscripting to Charlene: I'm well and have been here all along, sitting on my hands to not add to the abortion topic. Abundant thanks for wondering I'm okay. Love, Deb
