My husband had one about 4 yrs ago...this Oct will be five yrs. Just about 2 or 3 weeks ago he was told he has diabetes. His counts were in the 400's!!!! Then they after a week went down to between the upper 200's to mid 300's...they upped his meds. Then he was testing in the 187 to upper 200's and now every once in a while it will test normal...But it's only been about 3 weeks and he has been good about his diet so far.
We will see...he is even willing to walk a bit now, something I've been trying to get him to do for a long long LONG time!

They're testing my youngest dd for diabetes also. She is 13 yrs old. She isnt over weight or anything(5ft 2 and 110pds). But our dumb doctor told her she was getting hips and that she needed to lose weight!!!! I changed doctors! first time in 10 yrs.
But anyway her readings havent been very good...nothing like her daddy's. She is ALWAYS thirsty and of course going to the bathroom and ALWAYS tired. She isnt very well developed but she started you know what this last April...so they are checking her thyroid also...just had all the test and the doctor will talk to us about all the results in a couple of weeks.

How is your cholestral(sp?)My husbands is very high...in the mid 200's.

Lets just face it.
WE ARE GETTING OLD!!!!

LOL

:-D

I hope you can feel some peace real soon, as the stress isnt good for you either. Try to relax, eat yummy healty things and try to excerise a wee bit.(you more then likely have already been lectured to by many doctors but I thought I would add my two cents!!! HaHa Ha Ha...LOL)

I'll be thinking of you.

Blessings and Warm Thoughts
Jean
