they had no cars, no money for gas, no money to get far away and no money for hotels once they got there.
The flooding reached six miles in land and I think there was several tornatos from this also.
Where could these people go.....on foot to get away from this horrific thing in less then 24 hrs and to be able to carry needed emergancy suppies and their children? How far could any of us on this board get on foot carrying our children on our backs and needed supplies, and shelter to boot, and get to a place of safety from this storm in less then 24 hrs....and IF we did reach a place of safety would our supplies still be holding out this long..remember you have to carry everything needed(you have no car and no money).

Everything is gone. Water, power, food.
I cant even begin to imagine...a few days yes...but this is going to be months if not years.

This could be any of us.
