The American public is well aware of the casualties and the cost. They are reminded of it all the time.

The ban on the photographs is to protect the privacy of the families. There are photos out there if the Rutherford Institute would care to look.

And there are the photographs taken in theatre of the rifles
and the boots and helments. There have been pictures of the flag draped coffins.

If he really wanted to make this an issue, he should ask some of the families how they feel about having a blackout.
That would give balance to the article or proof that it lacks.
