Subject: Boycotting Jane Fonda

Normally I wouldn't say anything, but I find this interesting because this man DOES own his own business and he is putting it on the line to make a stand about what he believes.

Now, lest anyone get into a tizzy over this, I am NOT making this a slam against Jane Fonda. I disliked her going to North Vietnam and believe that she gave aid and comfort to the enemy. Men died because of her actions and her subsequent involvement with the bogus group of Vietnam Vets Against the War did more to harm than help.

Barbra Streisand also protested but kept it here. Her website is at least articulate in her beliefs and she seems to have genuine concerns. I boycott Babs for poor taste in movies. I saw part of "Meet the Fockers" and took the DVD back to Blockbuster and got a refund. What a stupid movie in poor taste and a waste of talent.

The last thing she did that I truly enjoyed was with Ryan O'Neal in "What's Up Doc?"

So, you see, my opinions are not necessarily influenced by politics, but ever since I found out about Ms. Fonda, I refused to watch any of her movies, talent notwithstanding.

Here is the link to a story in a Hardin County, KY newspaper.
