all wedgies.

Yes, he did look like he was in good shape. However, I wonder what is more insulting: People who open their news having to look at that or those who take the pics and then sensationalize them?

Abu Ghraib comes to mind now that Lynddie England is getting a new trial, and the COL in the immediate chain has been flatlined career wise. We contracted out the interrogation of the detainees, prisoners, whatever you want to call them and then the human rights people holler 'foul' if something isn't done 'just right.'

And yet these are the same people that DEMAND we 'do something' and then tie our hands while doing it. You can't have it both ways.

A reminder: The detainees belong to countries that do not recognize the Geneva Accords. You cannot get intelligence worth having without SOME coercion. The quality of it has to be investigated by field operatives or plants and that is very difficult and time consuming and costly to do, but we have to in order to protect ourselves.

The trade off for me is that me and mine are safe, as are the families of the detainees, if it means that we can protect ourselves based on the information we have.

That is a far bigger stake than just one person.
