Part of the reaon I didn't say a whole lot was because her son made the decision to join the military. But losing a child...well that I can understand. There is however, a world of difference in how the left and the right see things.
Yes, I did think she was an idiot for getting involved with some of the more extreme anti war pundits; aka moonbats.
One of the hardest things my husband ever had to do was order someone into a potentially lethal situation. Casualties will happen. War is about making someone else die for what they believe, and rebuilding something hopefully better in its place.
I have some other thoughts on this, but won't post them because of the horrendous hue and cry that is sure to result from them.
