 ok so yesterday i thought that i had finally researched everything that i needed to know about getting an eyebrow piercing. i knew the type of jewelry i needed, how to take care of it, and possible side effects/infections. then karis shatters it all for me as she reminds me that eyebrow piercings can cause facial paralysis. now i remember reading about this but for some reason it didnt bother me and now i know why. i have just spent an hour researching facial paralysis due to eyebrow piercings and found out that the closer you are to the bridge of the nose, the greater the chance that you'll hit a nerve. so it didnt bother me before because i have no intention of getting an eyebrow ring by my nose. also nerves have a certain path they follow so it is possible to avoid them. im still going to find out who did her friend's piercing though so i dont end up with half of my face not working, its probably because the person wasnt experienced enough. so yeah im happy and whit now we just have to find a place in LA that pierces without asking for parental permission :)
