Believe it or not, my name is actually Jayne Halliday too. That's how I found your page. I was bored and thought I'd see what would come up if I put my name in the search! Anyway, my great grandfather was from England and I can certainly try to track down a family tree and see if any of the names match. Let me know if you've had any progress. My grandfathers name was George Edward Halliday. Maybe that will help?!? He was born 1920 I believe.
