Author: Radames (Yes, I like Aida, so WHAT?)
Subject: Joining

This is El, again. With an even four charries. So nyeh.

Name: Radames ( Rah-dah-maze)
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Looks: He's sort of drawn looking, tall and lean with circles of sleeplessness frequently under his eyes. His hair is a wild messy mop of pale gold and his eyes are dark indigo and sad. Sometimes a smile flickers across his face, and then he looks like a million bucks. He wears somewhat tattered clothes, but they're just travel worn and patched, with a small leather satchel at his waist. He's got an emerald colored tatoo on his left cheek, a strange scralled word that swoops down to his jaw.

Personality: A bit paranoid, Radames is ever on the alert. He can deal with people, though, and is diplomatic to the last. He'll always be polite and considerate to those who show it to him in return. He does like to climb, though, into the boughs of trees and over walls, his own little idiosyncrasy. Radames is strong at heart, but he needs someone to protect him from his own thoughts, and the darkness that lodged itself inside his mind at a young age.

History: We must first go to the crowded, fly infested markets of Galhazi for Radames's story. A seedy looking peddler stole the boy from his mother when he was only two, locking the child up and tying his wrists together. Sold to the owner of a palatial fief, Radames was given the tatoo as a mark of his enslavement. The small child learned tasks such as washing, laundering, and sewing at his young age. His skills progressed to hauling carts and things of that nature. They kept him locked in a small room with only a shaft of light piercing through as a window, the child staying there for days at a time on grounds of some disobedience.

One afternoon, the boy was planting crops when a large animal, a hunting fief hound, spied him and deicded the boy needed a lesson in territory. Radames was mauled within an inch of his seven year old life, and was deemed no good for service anymore. He was tossed out, left at the foot of an old run down orphanage. The man who took him in, the caretaker of the old place, revealed himself to be a skilled Healer, sending the boy well on the way to recovery. Radames repayed the kindness by doing tasks, hunting, and tending livestock, while the caretaker taught him how to read, write, and sing. Soon, at his fourteenth birthday, he was ready to venture out into the world. He was given a sturdy knife, a small hand carved flute-like insturment made from the hollow legbone of a medium sized bird, and the leather satchel, which he wears at his waist. As Radames traveled, he learned many things, but at night, the horrors of his early past rushed to meet him in half remembered dreams, leaving him shaking. SO he has traveled, storing the nightmares and pushing them down, making friends along the way, coming ultimately to this place.
