"Kendra, daughter of the rogue Arik and the lady Cecelia" The wry smile that crosses her lips is one of a disgust and distaste at both her lineage and the remembered taunts of others, a sneer long practiced and long held in an arrogant barrier to those who would mock her. Her eyes rise to meet the other young woman's almost defiantly, before softening slightly before the other's obvious attempt at kindness. No, they were not against each other - if they both bonded, then they would be a team to fight Chaos, if only one did, then the other would await another litter. "Fair time to meet, Rhowen, and no mistake."

Falling silent again she raises her hand to scratch lightly on the silver Fach's eyeridge, staring into the bedazzling golden depths with a kind of wonder, before tearing it away to watch the other Dwi. "Goddess, if there was any justice you and this Fach will bond. Connections aren't easy to ignore. You never know who they'll choose, but I've got this gut feeling it's gonna be you." A flicker of regret passes behind the young woman's eyes, but she straightens and gives a forced grin. "Ahhh, if I don't bond to any this time, there's always the chance of next!" Despite her cheerful words, the nagging doubt of never being able to bond terrified her, and she clung desperatley to the thought of bonding - this time, or at least sometime. Banishing the thought of living a life without a Wytii, for now at least. One day if may be a reality, but right now, she was with the Plenyt and she was happy.
