I remember reading the article you are talking about. The one that said Showtime wanted 23 episodes but Chris only wanted to do 10 so he would have more time for music. They compromised on 17. Now for the advice. In the future, when you are giving information, you might want to state your source or stipulate that it is your opinion (say something like, in my opinion, I don't think Chris will do another year of the show because... but then I can't be sure because I haven't spoken with him). If you read something in an article say, I read in some article somewhere, I don't remember where that... That will prevent you from sounding like you're an insider or that you know some information that others don't know. That's what makes the "real insiders" crazy. On the message boards, as in life, don't try to be someone you're not. Unless of course you're posting anonymously. A couple other words of advice. Since you're new to the boards you might want to be a reader (observer) only, for a while before posting about every topic. Learn the particular flavor and "culture" of each board. Also, don't feel the need to constantly explain yourselves to your flamers, it's OK to ignore them sometimes. Have fun!
