Subject: Hunting

Bushes on the edge of the clearing rustle a few times...And then a rabbit shoots out at high speeds, a maroon and gold Lazut on its tail, his powerful muscles enabling him to leap out, claws extended, and then to land, his talons puncturing the hide of the creature. He lowers his head, and then snaps the neck of the rabbit, killing it quickly, and then starts munching contentedly. Sard pulls himself out of the undergrowth after his Lazut, grinning proudly. "Yeah! Nice catch, Youkai!" The Lazut purrs happily, his maroon and teal eyes gleaming with pleasure at the praise of his hunting skills. Just then another Lazut cub trots out of the bushes, and he growls softly at her until Sard hushes him. Reul walks along after her own Lazut, her dark red hair flowing around her tiny form. She looks up at her elder brother, and smiles faintly, her ebony eyes glittering. She had been spending a lot of time with her Lazut, and her emotional temperment seems to be a lot better than it has been for a while. He crouches down so that he is face-to-face with her. "So...Are you ever going to name your Lazut?" She hesitates, and then nods, then bends down and scribbles a word in the dirt on the ground, not wanting to have to speack. Sard examins his sister's writing, and then turns to her again, raising an eyebrow. "Nanashi? No Name?" She nods once, assuring him that, yes, this is the name she has chosen for her pet, and no, she will not be changing her mind. The smokey-gray Lazut winds her way around Reul, and the girl catches her balance, still not being endowed with much strength. Then Nanashi catches sight of prey out of the corner of her eye, and darts after it, Reul in hot pursuit. Sard sighs, and shakes his head, then looks at Youkai. "Shall we follow, oh illustrious one?" The big lazut purrs, and rubs against his leg, and then the two set out after their companions, their pace a lot slower than the two on the hunt, not needing to go that fast.
