Top 10 Reasons NOT to Buy Disability Insurance


10. Their spouse could go to work or get another job to replace their income. It's easy to get a job these days.

9. Their kids could help by getting a paper route, work at a fast food restaurant or both.

8. Their mortgage holder or landlord will understand that they cannot pay, and they will let them reside free until they can work again.

7. Their county will not care if they do not pay property taxes.

6. Even if their car is repossessed, they can walk to wherever they need to go. Or, their neighbors and friends will not mind being a taxi.

5. Doctors took an oath to care for people, so they will not mind if your clients cannot pay them.

4. They pay taxes and it is easy to qualify for government disability payments.

3. They can live off their savings. Everyone knows that they have at least five years of income stashed away.

2. They have disability insurance at work and they are sure it does not need to be supplemented. They will always work there and their employer will always offer disability insurance as benefits.

1. They are 100% certain they will never become disabled.
