If you do tax preparation, you have a lot of the facts gathered already to determine how you might help someone. I know a planner in Wichita who marketed tax prep to med students, and ended up with a massive number of students taking advantage of his $40 plain vanilla deal using Turbo Tax.

The upside was he gathered a LOT of assets and wrote a lot of insurance this way.
