Hello all, thanks for such a great website and message board.

Right now I am looking for items relating to the now long defunct Los Angeles Transit Police.

Known as LAMTA, later SCRTD, and then LACMTA the transit district in LA underwent several name and logo changes as did the Police/Special Agent/Transit Public Saftey/Transit Polcie force it kept.

If anyone has or knows of any artifacts such as badges, decals, PHOTOS, etc please contact me at RTD1978@webtv.net and we can hopefully make a deal or trade.

It should be noted that any information or items added to my collection will be credited in a related project I have been involved with that is to cover the history of this department from 1958-1997.

It shoud also be noted that any items are for collecting purposes soley, as of course this is now an obsolete department. The doors closed in 1997.
