I'm glad to see the car went to someone who's going to restore it. I was at the show but was to busy working it to get a look at the car. When I worked at Renton Dodge during the 70's we did a huge amount of fleet business. We were pumping out cars for WSP, SPD, Parks dept and many, many other county & city depts. You're correct about the different color WSP cars. The non-white ones always seemed to go to the Sargent or higher ranked officers. On some but not all the deliveries we also added the light bars prior to turning them over to the state. I don't recall ever adding light bars to the non-white cars. We'd also get them in for service and the only WSP ones with light bars I remember were white.
