Subject: Seeking Big Cats.....below G'ville dam on Wheeler

Have fished all around Alabama but just now got into the Tennessee. Am closest to stretch of river between Ditto landing and G'ville dam. Have always heard of those big cats and want to find some. Anybody care to offer any advice. Aside from the obvious (stinky or live bait, strong hook, strong rod, etc).....i have catfished all my life, just not in this big a river with this big o fish.

.......Also gonna try some jug fishin........got jugs, got line/hook/weight...........how deep(how much line) should i leave between the jug and hook?
