But was as hard headed as he was hard in the mouth(for now that could change with maturity). He layed his ears back when the realization came to him that she wouldn't let him slow down of his own accord. He pulled harder on the bit now. He just wouldn't give in unless he wanted to. He lengthened his stride and inched his way up in speed. His heart was in running and he just wouldn't let up. He took the circling okay and used the corners to speed up. When they came into a straightaway again he circled and circled. Just as he was about to go straight again he tripped and went down with a loud thud.
