I hope it's OK that I post this here - I am looking for a home for my hairless boy. He lives with 5 other dogs, ha s always been dominant toward them and they have always backed down. "Teddy" has been like this since his arrival at 8-9 months old. My concern is not the response of my own dogs to Teddy's snarls but the response to dogs I bring into my boarding facility. It is on the property where I live. Teddy recently slipped away from me to charge after a Bull Terrier arriving here for boarding. With great fortune for Teddy, the Bull Terrier took the snapping and lunging of my dog, the other dog did nothing (most unusal for a Bull Terrier.) I thought I was about to witness the worst and it was scary. Because of the business I am in, I've decided to look for another home for my Crested, for his own safety. Teddy is as sweet, devoted, fun, smart and comical as any Crested. He is also obedience trained and has been expected to do just what my larger dogs do here. He has some tricks up his sleeve too. I am asking for help to find Teddy a deserving home. He is a wonderful boy with the above exception.
