If Ping is a true hairless, you're best bet is to use the Frontline spray because the spot-on stuff will just slide right down the skin. You can also try natural remedies first. There is a product called Cactus Juice that works well, it contains a SPF 20 sunblock. It's not marketed for "flea deterrent" but does the job pretty well (that's what I'm using on my epileptic CC because I can't use the chemicals on him). Google "natural flea prevention" and you'll find lots of info on things you can do to rid your yard of them, as well as your dog.
