Thanks for the reply... it was unfortunately not helpful. We emailed those people a couple of times and nobody responded. After taking the dogs to shows and talking to "crested" people, we finally got a phone call from someone that said they would not help with our dogs unless they know the breeder's name, the owner's name, and the history of the dogs. We are under a confidentiality agreement with the previous owner and cannot divulge any of this information. The dogs are pure bred and one of them was originally going to be shown. We are dispondant and disappointed in Crested Rescue... we thought that rescue meant that you gave a needy dog a second chance. We are wondering how many "crested"s are left in the hands of Animal Control officials because they don't have the proper background and paperwork! Please let me know if this is the way that all the crest-care groups are ran or if California is just snobby!
