Subject: skin issues

I just adopted a 4 year old HHL rescue. She has blackheads everywhere on her body, the blackheads are so bad that when I first saw her I thought her skin was black, but as I hugged her I realized that it was all blackheads (her skin should be peachy) and she also has some of those under the skin pimples (mostly on the back of her neck, & her back).
I've only had her for 3 days now. I've bathed her in the yogurt/honey mix that I saw recommended on the mess. boards. Some of the blk.heads came out, but there's so much.
How often should I bath her with the y/h mix? Should I be doing anything else between baths? How long does it usually take for all the blk.heads to come out & for the skin to clear up? I feel so bad for her. She's really a sweety & very pretty even with the skin issues.
Any advise would be appreciated. Thanks
