Hee! This made me laugh! Gracie loves to hide food. Has done so since I got her. Maybe she didn't realize that contrary to her former home she had no competition for food here. Her hiding places though is what was hilarious! In behind doors, under tables, in her bed, but the best place is the middle of the floor. She drops it down, walks around it, leaves it there, goes back to make sure it is still there, peeks around to make sure no one can see her hiding the food, and it does not matter if it is under her blanket in her bed or in the middle of the floor she does exactly the same thing. She likes to hide cookies or wet food. The only trouble that I had with all this was finding all the hidden food the day before she was going for a dental and so she could not eat after 10 pm. I do go around to all her favorite hiding places every few days to pick up any wet food that might be around, although it sort of drys out and is probably harmless.
